Optimized System Design for Optimized SW Prices

Abstract:
A changing environment needs changed methods & technology to support those. There is always the desire after a balance between simple pricing methodology and possibly a specific pricing method for each and every single situation. Pricing methodology and technology behind must support this balance, but also aimed to take care for customer requirements and simplicity in pricing methods. System design will support now in an improved and much better way optimised pricing methodology on zSeries.

Bio:
Mr. Pollack is Sales Manager in Software Group, Central Region (GER, AUS, CH), zSeries - SW Sales; responsible for Software Sales of zSeries SW products. Mr. Pollack started his career with IBM in 1991as a Sales Rep in Public Sector. After assignment in IBM's German HQ Stuttgart (EA to Country GM) he worked in some managerial positions in Public Sector Central, Germany. Mr. Pollack has also travelled and worked in locations for IBM around EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), which included an assignment based in the United Kingdom for 2 years, in Enterprise Server Group EMEA.
