Bio:
Henrik Thorsen was born in Copenhagen Denmark in 1958 and holds a Master of Science degree from the Danish technical University and is currently working at IBM as zSeries Nordic technical support team leader. He worked with computers and programming since the late seventies and joined IBM in 1983. During his IBM career both in Denmark, Sweden and the US he worked with a wide range of technologies and tasks ranging from programming, systems programming, debugging, systems architecture and design, project management, education as well as sales and marketing activities.
Areas of Expertise: Large systems and specifically zSeries operating system, networking and subsystem support. Parallel Sysplex, performance, capacity planning, workload management and high availability solutions.
