Towards Automatic Computing

Mr. Phil Dalton
IBM (1.5A)

Abstract:
As computers become more powerful and end-to-end service delivery becomes increasingly complex in a heterogeneous server environment, such as Grid Computing, it is essential that the servers begin to look after themselves. This presentation will discuss the great strides that the IBM eServer family has already taken to achieve this goal, and how zSeries is at the forefront of advances in this area.
