Conference Venue
GSE 6th Technical Symposium will be held in the Maritim proArte Hotel, 5 minutes' walk from the "Friedrichstrasse" Underground/Railway Station.
Berlin has a place that has made it an icon of the past century. The demolition of the infamous Berlin Wall on 9 November 1989 marked the dawn of a new era for this city - an era in which the most significant features have been the re-unification of Germany, and to the re-designation of Berlin as the capital of Germany.
The city's prime geographical location at the border of Central Europe has made it the gateway between East and West. With its universities, academies and research institutes, Berlin has the most extensive research capacity in Germany.

Access to Berlin
There are 3 airports in Berlin. Tegel is situated in north-west Berlin, approximately 8 km from the city centre. Sch–nefeld lies to the southeast of Berlin, approximately 18 km from the city centre. Tempelhof is in the south of the city. Additional travel information will be sent together with the confirmation.

Hotel Reservation
The Maritim proArte Hotel is located in the heart of Berlin, known as the "Mitte", in the immediate vicinity of the Boulevard "Unten den Linden". The Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, opera houses and theatres are within walking distance from the hotel and the "Friedrichstrasse" Underground/Railway Station is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
GUIDE SHARE EUROPE has reserved a block of rooms at special congress rates at the Maritim proArte Hotel.
Please complete the hotel reservation portion in the enrolment form. Note that a credit card guarantee is required to secure your reservation. In case of unavailability we reserve the right to book you to other hotels.
We recommend that you reserve as early as you can. For cancellations after 27 September and no-shows one night will be charged.

Enrolment Fees
Enrolment fees are charged in Swiss Francs (CHF).
Full enrolment fee (Member: CHF 1,490.00; Non-member: CHF 1,790.00) includes
- Access to all sessions and lunches on 7-8 October
- Conference dinner on 7 October
- Download of handouts after the event
One-day enrolment fee (Member: CHF 660.00; Non-member: CHF 810.00) includes:
- Access to sessions and lunch on day enrolled
- Download of handouts after the event
Additional conference dinner ticket (CHF 120.00)
- For one-day delegates, or for spouses

Payment Methods
An invoice will be sent once your enrolment is processed. You will find payment information in the invoice. Please complete the detail on the enrolment form if you are paying by credit card.

Substitution and Cancellation / No-show
Substitution needs to be confirmed in writing, identifying the name of the pre-registered delegate and of the substitute.
Cancellation must be in writing to GUIDE SHARE EUROPE in Cham on or before 27 September 2002. After 27 September 2002 CHF 500.00 will be charged as a cancellation fee.
No-show: The full enrolment fee will be charged and, if a hotel reservation is requested, one night's accommodation.
