What Is GSE ?   GUIDE SHARE EUROPE GSE is a non-profit association of companies, organisations and individuals who are involved in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions based on IBM architectures. GSE aims to encourage members to exchange experience and information related to ICT, influence ICT product and service providers, and influence the European standards in Information and Communication Technology in the interest of its members. Formed by the merger of G.U.I.D.E. and SHARE Europe - both well established users organisations with over 35 years of experience each - GSE is an effective forum supporting the needs of today's ICT professional. GSE is an independent organisation led by volunteers. Active member participation is encouraged and fostered by providing numerous opportunities to share ideas and solutions with industry colleagues, both on a regional and international level GUIDE SHARE EUROPE holds a type-C ISO membership and is a member of the European ICT Roundtables. This gives GSE members access to a process of Information and Communication Technology standards. Back to Top Partnership with IBM GUIDE SHARE EUROPE (GSE) is financially independent from IBM and all other ICT product and service providers. However, there is a long and close relationship between the members of GSE and IBM. GSE members have invested in IBM technologies and therefore have a strong interest in getting the most out of their IBM based solutions. IBM has a strong interest in helping to achieve these ends. GSE members and IBM work together in close partnership to educate one another on subjects ranging from specific business needs to complex ITC strategies. By maintaining a constant flow of communication between individuals at all levels, GSE members exchange a high degree of in-depth knowledge and information. As a result, the installation and the individual benefit from better informed decisions, are better prepared to meet their professional challenges and have unique insight into future technology and solutions. Encourage members to exchange experience and information. Activities Address Top Concerns of the GSE Membership together with IBM's top management. Organise European and National Conferences and Symposiums. Organise Technical Working Groups. Participate in Advisory Councils. Participate in the Early Support Process (ESP). Provide access to IBM's Product Development through the GSE Requirements System. Provide members with GSE Publications and regular updates to GSE news and information.
